    Twice now we have waited 6 weeks +/- a couple days for our son’s glasses to be put together this year, first for the original pair and again for the warranty pair, totaling 12 weeks (3 months) wait time which is beyond rediculous. Their service remains the same as it was back when they were Strathmore Vision, back when we had a nearly identical experience. We were loyal returning customers regardless of the past experiences.

    It’s a pretty busy place, but we always get good customer service. They are always happy just to make an adjustment at no cost. They even helped me choose my glasses when I had no one there to to give me an opinion.

    After several complaints and all the hassle they offered a certificate for 50% off my next purchase. It is unfortunate it can’t be used at a competitors location because we won’t be returning to Strathmore FYI.

    When the original $549.00 pair of glasses order came in, the paint on the frames was scratched off near the lense screws due to a sloppy install. They pointed this out and offered to send them out to be repainted since the frame was apparently discontinued during the 5 week wait but it could take a few weeks more for this or we could receive a refund for the frame which is what we opted for since we had been waiting 5 weeks at this point. When the glasses were finally ready after yet another week wait, they insist they had not offered a refund for the frames and could only offer a discount on a new frame and forced us to take the frame as is telling me the missing paint is not effecting the functionality.

    My girls love Dr. Duke! She is so sweet and positive every time we are in. Being able to come in some evenings and Saturdays, makes it convenient for the whole family.

    We thought perhaps this was a one time unfortunate experience however, the warranty experience was nearly identical. The original frames broke at the hinge, the lenses cracked inside and the lense coating was peeling. Yet again, a 6 week wait with all the same excuses and failing to update without us calling experience.

    They are always slow getting glasses together as it seems, constantly giving the same excuse saying there was something wrong with the lense order, all the while failing to update the customer without the customer calling 3 days after the said date they would call on. I would always be told I would hear from them Friday or Monday at the latest but then I would have to call them the following Wedsneday.
