  The Alberta Canola Growers at this hotel conference was great, the lunch time food was very good. The washrooms were very well kept. As well, the staff were very attentive and willing to help with serving and when I lost my wallet.

  I went to the Travelodge for a Christmas function. The organization booked the ball room which had plenty of round tables and seating. The service was amazing. The bar staff for the function was extremely professional while maintaining a friendly demeanor. I think this is the goto place for functions in the town of Strathmore.

  The Travelodge in Strathmore is one of the better hotels that I have ever gone to staff are very helpful and polite the overall hotel is very clean and well the breakfast bar just great well-stocked many selections the pool has a water slide and a hot tub and great for the younger child in you and the adult in everyone

  I am FINALLY getting around to posting the review I was adamant to write about my terrible experience with this hotel. On the first weekend of November my husband and I were traveling with our friend's three teenagers. We don't have a credit card and I knew from past experience that it was useful to have one when avoiding large deposits. We didn't have much money on hand as we were waiting for a deposit to be made. Knowing the situation was complicated, we decided to phone ahead to make sure it would be possible to use my mom's credit card to book our room. Unfortunately, there was a very new person working the desk and when my mom called to make sure it would all work out she said yes and took her credit card number but when we got there (in the early hours of the morning in the freezing cold) the front desk woman said it would not work without the credit card physically present which was obviously not what she said on the phone, but there was a language barrier as well as the fact that this poor woman was essentially on her own after only 1 month and the person in the back who had been there longer was incredibly rude and unhelpful and basically left the front desk woman out to dry.

  Long story not so short, even thought the hotel staff were part of the reason the problem was created, they did NOTHING to help and put a woman with a disabled husband and 3 teenagers out in the cold. I understand that there are policies and procedures in place, but there are also ways around them from when need be. Thankfully the Super 8 just around the corner was amazingly helpful and worked out a way to verify that my mother was in fact the cardholder and was in fact happy with us paying for the room with her credit card! Don't bother with the Travelodge on your next stay in Strathmore. When the management won't find a creative way to help some people out after the people working under them have made a mistake, how can they call themselves part of the hospitality industry?

  We stayed in a room on the east side of the hotel. There wasn't really any outside noise, and nothing to wake our infant. The room was clean and tidy, with a nice selection of "one cup" teas and coffees available. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick. Definitely made the early check in and check out a breeze! We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, quite tasty. Good variety too. We would definitely stay there again if we were staying in Strathmore!
