Super awesome food! Bruchetta and T-bone steak is a personal fave! I highly recommend this place. It's fancy

For dessert, two of us had the cheesecake: 3 - 1 inch cubes of frozen cheesecake served with raspberry(?) coulis and what seemed to be store-bought Hershey's chocolate syrup.

The menu is limited and just plain weird; steak house meets Italian meets East Indian. The international dish I ordered (Vindaloo) was good, but the portion was way too small - I think there were 6 to 8 bite-sized pieces of chicken served with 1/2 cup of steamed rice and 3 small wedges of naan - I ended up hitting a fast food joint for a burger on the way home. The other parties at the table had steak. They were cooked to order, but thin cuts of meat. There is no mention of portion sizes/meat weights on the menu (other than the steak and lobster, 4oz BTW), so maybe they use larger, thin cuts to make it appear that you are getting more?

Pretentious plating techniques and the atmosphere was a combination of the Keg meets Micky-D's. They attempted to hit the high-end mark (as seen through their plating) but they definitely ran out of money when it came to tables, chairs, lighting, heating and knowledgeable staff.

The waitress had the personality of a brick, was a low-talker, and had no idea what the portions were. Every time someone asked what size of steak came with the meal, she would use her hands to mimic the size... I mean, come on; you could motion that the steak was the size of a plate but that means NOTHING if it is paper thin ! Is it 6 oz, 8oz, 10oz? And SPEAK UP !

BTW - Your first clue will be the spelling errors on the menu... the Devil is in the Details !!!

Chicken was good, as are the crispy mashed potatoes but the ribs weren't that great. A lot of attention to detail in plating and the staff we had was very attentive. More upscale than you would expect, and prices reflect that.

Overall, everyone thought the meal was tasty, but they miss the mark when it comes to atmosphere. It looks like they are trying too hard to be something that they are not, and never will be. I gave them 2 stars just because the food was good, but they lost points on overall atmosphere and dining experience.

Worst food ever, no heat they actually had to bring space heaters (that didn’t work). Washroom OMG better and cleaner at the corner gas station, garbage all over, toilet paper littered all over and no paper towels to wash your hands. Makes you think how do the staff wash??? Butter chicken was more like thick over cooked mushy chicken bits (not sure that’s actually chicken) in thick chunky gross tomato paste. We actually held it upside down and it passed the DQ blizzard test. Worst food place in Strathmore don’t waste your money on this OVERPRICED establishment. Only good thing blond server who is new, she cared tried to make things right, any other restaurant wanting to hire someone should take her out of this nasty place and offer her a real nice job vs. this nasty restaurant.
